My Journey
Finding Inspiration in Every Turn
I have recently completed a postgraduate diploma in CBT at the University of Canterbury interning for the last 3 years, As a Registered Physiotherapist for the past 25 years, I have worked with diverse populations facing various neurodevelopmental delays, disabilities, pain and health issues. Over time, I've noticed a gap in the mental health field for experienced and empathetic therapists with a health background to offer therapy to individuals and their families. This is where CBT fills that gap - providing mental health therapy to adults, children and adolescents, and their families, with a focus on cognitive-behavioral therapy

What is CBT
CBT aims to help you deal with overwhelming problems in a more positive way by breaking them down into smaller parts.
You're shown how to change these negative patterns to improve the way you feel.
Unlike some other talking treatments, CBT deals with your current problems, rather than focusing on issues from your past.
It looks for practical ways to improve your state of mind on a daily basis.
